In 1967 YAP had focussed attention to other fundamental difficulties involved in quantitative histochemistry due to the loss of lyoenzymes during incubation time, to the increase of activity of desmoenzymes following fixation and to the changes of the lyo-desmoenzyrne proportions (39).
