A circadian pattern for the onset of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) has been described, with a higher risk in the early morning and lower risk during nighttime. However, data assessing the circadian distribution of hemorrhagic transformation after intravenous thrombolysis (ivT) are still incongruent.
