Circulation of four Anaplasma phagocytophilum ecotypes in Europe

Abstract: BackgroundAnaplasma phagocytophilum is the etiological agent of granulocytic anaplasmosis in humans and animals. Wild animals and ticks play key roles in the enzootic cycles of the pathogen.
