Abstract:We present a case of a 46-year-old female who presented to the hospital with significant abdominal distension, intractable vomiting, and pre-renal acute kidney injury (AKI) secondary to hypovolemia. Blood tests revealed global electrolyte derangements and a significant drop in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) from a baseline of over 90 to 6.7.
