“…A few dozen cases with Dieulafoy’s lesions in the small intestine have been reported, but all of the lesions were encountered in adults, except 1 case, who was an older teenager [3]. Six cases with Dieulafoy’s lesions in the distal jejunum or ileum, usually found by endoscopy, have been reported in the English medical literature [3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13]. We describe a case of a child with Dieulafoy’s disease in the distal jejunum accompanied with a certain amount of hemafecia, which was preserved by accurate medical examination and prompt therapy.…”
