Citra Perempuan pada Tokoh Putri Kandita dalam Dongeng Nyi Roro Kidul: Pendekatan Feminisme

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use feminist research to find the image of women in the fairy tale of Nyi Roro Kidul. The methods used in this study are descriptive and qualitative. Based on the results of this study, there are three images of women in the folklore of Nyi Roro Kidul fairy tales, namely physical image, psychological image, and social image of women. Based on the self-image of a woman in the fairy tale Nyi Roro Kidul, Putri Kandita is represented physically as a beautiful-faced woman. The image of women from a psychological point of view, from a psychological point of view the character of Princess Kandita is described as a woman who is firm, forgiving, brave and able to lead. Social image of women, social image can be interpreted as the way of life of women i.e. their role in the family and society. In a family, women can be children, mothers, brothers, sisters and wives.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian feminis untuk menemukan citra perempuan dalam dongeng Nyi Roro Kidul. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, terdapat tiga gambaran perempuan dalam cerita rakyat dongeng Nyi Roro Kidul, yaitu citra fisik, citra dari segi psikologis, dan citra sosial perempuan. Citra wanita secara fisik, berdasarkan citra diri seorang wanita dalam dongeng Nyi Roro Kidul, Putri Kandita direpresentasikan secara fisik sebagai wanita berwajah cantik. Citra perempuan dari segi psikologis, dari segi psikologis tokoh Putri Kandita digambarkan sebagai perempuan yang tegas, pemaaf, berani dan mampu memimpin. Citra sosial perempuan, citra sosial dapat diartikan sebagai cara hidup perempuan yaitu peran mereka dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Dalam sebuah keluarga, perempuan dapat menjadi anak, ibu, saudara laki-laki, saudara perempuan dan istri.
