Abstract:Citrobacter koseri (C. koseri) can lead to severe infections in the neonates, elderly and immunocompromised patients. We describe the first reported case of an axillary abscess due to C. koseri in a healthy adolescent, and review the clinical aspects and associated risk factors of this rare condition.
