Civil Conflict Fragmentation and the Effectiveness of UN Peacekeeping Operations

Abstract: While the extant literature has highlighted the importance of UN peacekeeping operations (PKOs) in addressing commitment problems in civil wars, actor fragmentation presents additional challenges for conflict resolution.
