Classical Estrogen Receptors and ERα Splice Variants in the Mouse

Abstract: Estrogens exert a variety of effects in both reproductive and non-reproductive tissues. With the discovery of ERα splice variants, prior assumptions concerning tissue-specific estrogen signaling need to be re-evaluated.
