Classification of Neuropathic Pain

Abstract: Neuropathic pain encompasses a category of chronic pain conditions that are caused by disease or lesion of the somatosensory nervous system. Depending on the location of the lesion or disease, neuropathic pain can be categorized as peripheral, central, or mixed.
