Digital transformation causes an increase in the volume of information in the form of text such as news. On social media, a lot of news is uploaded in such a fast time and one of them is Twitter. Twitter is a social media service that has served many users, making it one of the social media that has very large data. From this very large data, it can be used as a news source for online news web. However, with the many topics extracted from Twitter data, the incoming data has a variety of topics which causes difficulties in identifying the topics from the data set taken and will require a lot of time if it has to be done manually by humans. Meanwhile, the data is potentially needed to provide information as quickly as possible. This study aims to classify topics on data taken from Twitter automatically so that it can make a classification on the news taken, can be more effective and efficient and does not take as much time as done manually by humans. The research was conducted using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method. News documents that will be classified are Indonesian news documents and will be classified into topics to be determined. The results of the research using topic modeling using the LDA method concluded that the number of topics formed from 9094 tweet data was 10 topics.

Bu çalışmada çevrimiçi kullanılabilecek bir konu tespit sistemi önerilmiştir. Gizli Dirichlet Ayırımı ile 4 farklı kategoriye ait toplam 400.000 haber dokümandan oluşan bir Türkçe derlem eğitilmiştir. Model, eğitim verisinde yer almayan, yeni gelen dokümanların konu tespitini yüksek başarı ile gerçekleştirebilmektedir. Konu modellerinin başarı değerlendirmesinde tutarlılık (coherence) değerine ek olarak sınıflandırma yöntemleri için geçerli olan kesinlik (precision), hassasiyet (recall), F-ölçümü gibi skorların elde edilmesine yönelik 2 farklı yaklaşım geliştirilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımlarda, konular ile dokümanların ait olduğu sınıfların eşleştirilmesinden yararlanılmıştır. İlk yaklaşımda, dokümanın ait olduğu sınıfa karşılık gelen konunun mevcut olup olmadığı üzerinden genel bir başarı ölçütü sunulmuştur. İkinci yaklaşımda ise modelin yüksek güven (confidence) ile gerçekleştirmediği tahminleri eleyen, "dokümanın en belirgin konusu, ait olduğu sınıftır" kabulüne göre bir eşik (threshold) değeri üzerinden değerlendirme yapılan bir ölçüt sunulmuştur. Önerilen başarı değerlendirme yöntemlerine göre sırasıyla %94.2 ve %90.9 doğrulukta konu tespiti başarısı elde edilmiştir.

Understanding the reason behind the emotions placed in the social media plays a key role to learn mood characterization of any written texts that are not seen before. Knowing how to classify the mood characterization leads this technology to be useful in a variety of fields. The Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), a topic modeling algorithm, was used to determine which emotions the tweets on Twitter had in the study. The dataset consists of 4000 tweets that are categorized into 5 different emotions that are anger, fear, happiness, sadness, and surprise. Zemberek, Snowball, and first 5 letters root extraction methods are used to create models. The generated models were tested by using the proposed n-stage LDA method. With the proposed method, we aimed to increase model's success rate by decreasing the number of words in the dictionary. Using the multi-stage LDA (2-stages:70.5%, 3-stages:76.375%) method, the success rate was increased compared to normal LDA (60.375%) for 5 class.
