Classification using semantic feature and machine learning: Land-use case application

Abstract: Land cover classification has interested recent works especially for deforestation, urban are monitoring and agricultural land use. Traditional classification approaches have limited accuracy especially for nonheterogeneous land cover. Thus, using machine may improve the classification accuracy. The presented paper deals with the land-use scene recognition on very high-resolution remote sensing imagery. We proposed a new framework based on semantic features, handcrafted features and machine learning classifier… Show more

“…The system dynamics model, which is more applicable in analyzing the internal structure and quantity prediction, can reflect the complex behavior of the land system from a macroscopic perspective and is better applied in the scenario simulation study of land-use change. Still, the model lacks spatial analysis tools, so it is difficult to realize the simulation of land-use spatial distribution [ 8 ].…”

“…Some government departments not only consider the level of land use and input-output efficiency, but also consider whether urban land is low-utility land in terms of land layout, level of supporting facilities, and ecological and environmental protection. The article [ 10 ] evaluates the efficiency of industrial land use in terms of land use output and social services based on the micro-plot scale and explores the relationship between land use structure and its efficiency. The literature [ 11 ] studied the effect of far-left-turn traffic implementation at signalized intersections and proposed a microscopic traffic model applicable to typical urban areas, and evaluated the left-turn organization of different signal-controlled intersections.…”

“…Different methods of AI can be used in this field, such as deep learning and machine learning, due to their efficiency in copying the human behavior, in which the diagnosing is accursed [10], [11]. The machine learning technique is based on building more than one model that can be learned using a dataset related to the subject [12], [13]. These models provide the system with classified and arranged results.…”
