Today, Industry 4.0 is revolutionizing the manufacturing sector by offering unique opportunities for good durability and better performance. It optimizes production and minimizes waste and waste with a more efficient use of resources. In addition, predictive maintenance and logistics optimization reduce the environmental impact. In terms of performance, Industry 4.0 increases production through automation, improves quality as a result of faster detection of defects and errors, reduces production times and increases flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, however, implementation requires significant upfront investments, data security concerns and ongoing staff training. Despite these challenges, companies that adopt Industry 4.0 remain competitive in a changing market while contributing to a more sustainable and efficient future. Indeed, this article takes an in-depth look at the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on business sustainability and performance, highlighting its benefits, challenges and opportunities. In addition, it analyzes the implications of changes related to new technology on the sustainability of companies from an economic and environmental point of view. However, this study shows that the Fourth Industrial Revolution offers significant and significant opportunities to improve performance, for example through process automation, supply chain optimization, and increased operational efficiency. In addition, companies that strategically integrate technologies are more likely to benefit from sustainable growth, increased agility and enhanced competitiveness. Finally, this literature review is based on a systematic approach to the analysis of old and academic works, and relevant reports. The research relies on academic journals and official publications to gather a diversity of perspectives on the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Blockchain technology is expected to have a radical impact on most industries by boosting security, transparency, and efficiency. This work considers the potential benefits of blockchain-focused applications in industrial process monitoring. The research design facilitates a detailed bibliometric analysis and delivers insights into the intellectual structure of blockchain technology’s application in industry via scientometric approaches. The work also approaches numerous sources in various industrial sectors to identify the transformative role of blockchain in industrial processes. Aspects such as blockchain technology’s impact on industrial processes’ transparency are discussed, while the paper does not ignore that success stories in applying blockchain to industrial sectors are often exaggerated due to a highly competitive environment that the cryptocurrency domain has become. Finally, the work presents major research avenues and decision-making areas that should be tackled to maximize the disruptive potential of blockchain and create a secure, transparent, and inclusive future.

In recent times, the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and Blockchain technologies have quickly gained pace as a new study niche in numerous collegiate and industrial sectors, notably in the healthcare sector. Recent advancements in healthcare delivery have given many patients access to advanced personalized healthcare, which has improved their well-being. The subsequent phase in healthcare is to seamlessly consolidate these emerging technologies such as IoT-assisted wearable sensor devices, AI, and Blockchain collectively. Surprisingly, owing to the rapid use of smart wearable sensors, IoT and AI-enabled technology are shifting healthcare from a conventional hub-based system to a more personalized healthcare management system (HMS). However, implementing smart sensors, advanced IoT, AI, and Blockchain technologies synchronously in HMS remains a significant challenge. Prominent and reoccurring issues such as scarcity of cost-effective and accurate smart medical sensors, unstandardized IoT system architectures, heterogeneity of connected wearable devices, the multidimensionality of data generated, and high demand for interoperability are vivid problems affecting the advancement of HMS. Hence, this survey paper presents a detailed evaluation of the application of these emerging technologies (Smart Sensor, IoT, AI, Blockchain) in HMS to better understand the progress thus far. Specifically, current studies and findings on the deployment of these emerging technologies in healthcare are investigated, as well as key enabling factors, noteworthy use cases, and successful deployments. This survey also examined essential issues that are frequently encountered by IoT-assisted wearable sensor systems, AI, and Blockchain, as well as the critical concerns that must be addressed to enhance the application of these emerging technologies in the HMS.
