“…At the same time, the notion that emotions play a crucial role in shaping an experience has led other researchers to focus on emotions as the relevant experiential variable to measure. This research includes several cross-sectional studies (Nawijn et al, 2013;Nawijn & Fricke, 2015;Gillet et al, 2016;Konijn et al, 2016) and a handful of longitudinal studies based on daily diary data (Coghlan & Pearce, 2010;Mitas et al, 2012;Nawijn et al, 2013;Lin et al, 2014). Using questionnaires to measure constructs, a number of studies have employed a multidimensional approach, adding other cognitive and behavioral measurements (Mumm & Mutlu, 2011;Van Schaik & Ling, 2012).…”

“…Participant observation is also a recognized method in tourism, with special utility for tourism research in areas such as tourist satisfaction / dissatisfaction, behaviour and management questions [59] as well as in the observation of tourist groups or events [58]. Specifically, participant observation has been used to analyse tourist behaviour in relation to photography [43,45] and online photo-sharing [60]. This technique is considered as being a microethnography [60], which analyses social and cultural interactions in an organized context or particular situation.…”

“…The more abnormal the pictures taken, which are good ways to show, the more influence may be exerted on the people concerned [13]. Photo-sharing behaviors are followed by photographing; but the division between these two has gradually been curtailed and hampered, with the development of social media and cloud computing [14]. Tourists "click to share", thus photography is to sharing what means to end [14].…”
