“…Para monitorar e avaliar temporalmente e espacialmente a variação de perda de solos em uma determinada área, são utilizados amplamente modelos de previsão de erosão hídrica ao redor do mundo (Eekhout et al, 2021). Considerando que o monitoramento da erosão do solo exige demasiado tempo e auxílio financeiro, a modelagem pode ser realizada por investigação remota, não apenas representando as condições atuais, mas também auxiliando na previsão de possíveis cenários para o século XXI (Zare et al, 2016;Luetzenburg et al, 2020). Os impactos potenciais das mudanças climáticas sobre a erosão do solo podem ser avaliados inserindo diversos dados, como os tipos de solos, os usos da terra, as práticas de manejo e conservação, a declividade das vertentes, o comprimento de rampa, a erosividade da chuva (será discutida adiante) e a erodibilidade do solo, entre outros.…”
