A Am ma aç ç: : Bu çalışmadaki amacımız erken postoperatif dönemde banyo yapmanın yara yeri enfeksiyonunu riskini artırıp-artırmadığını değerlendirmektir. G Ge er re eç ç v ve e Y Yö ön nt te em ml le er r: : Bu çalışma için iki üçüncü basamak referans hastanesinde Ocak 2012-Aralık 2015 yılları arasında elektif sezaryen ameliyatı olan hastaların klinik verileri retrospektif olarak değerlendirildi. Operasyon sonrası sü-türler alınmadan kişisel hijyenik ihtiyaçları için banyo yapması ya da duş olmasına izin verilen hastalar (Grup 1) ile sütürler alınıncaya kadar insizyon sahasının kuru kalması önerilen hastalar (Grup 2) postoperatif yönünden karşılaştırıldı. B Bu ul lg gu ul la ar r: : Bütün ameliyatlar aynı cerrah tarafından yapıldı. Çalışma kriterlerine uygun Grup 1 için 476, Grup 2 için 227 hasta olmak üzere toplam 703 hasta çalışmaya alındı. Yatış ve/veya antibiyotik tedavisi ve/veya debridman gerektiren yara yeri enfeksiyonu sırasıyla; Grup 1 için dokuz (%1,9) ve Grup 2 için dört (%1,8) bulundu ve gruplar arası anlamlı fark saptanmadı (p=0,906). Herhangi bir müdahale gerektirmeyen insizyon hattında seröz akıntı Grup 1 (n=19, %4) Grup 2 (n=6, %2,6)'den hafifçe yüksek olarak gözlense de bu fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değildi (p=0,367).
