Clinical and Laboratory Findings of Allergic Rhinitis Patients

Abstract

Background: Allergic rhinitis is divided into seasonal and perennial types with nasal symptoms categorized as mild, moderate, severe, or worst. We investigated the clinical and laboratory findings of allergic rhinitis patients and compared the findings between groups.Patients and methods: One hundred and fifty-eight allergic rhinitis patients who underwent antigen-specific IgE antibody tests were included. Patients were divided into seasonal/perennial or mild/severe. The ratio of patients with asthma, blood eosinophil ratio, blood basophil ratio, and total IgE value were compared between the groups.
