Clinical and radiographical evaluation of propolis and thymus vulgaris extracts compared with formocresol pulpotomy in human primary molars

Abstract: Objectives/aims:This study aimed to examine the success of vital pulpotomy using natural extracts on primary teeth.Materials and methods:The study was carried out on 60 primary molars in 20 children indicated for pulpotomy. In addition, the inadequate maintenance of oral hygiene and the consumption of sugars often lead to a faster spread of caries and an early involvement of the pulp in the primary teeth compared to permanent teeth, there for the conventional treatment is a pulpotomy (Alolofi et al 2016).
