Abstract: Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging is instrumental in diagnosing various cardiovascular diseases. Recently introduced T1 mapping and T2 mapping sequences have enabled quantification of the T1 and T2 relaxation times of the myocardium and associated cardiovascular structures, which are intrinsic properties of tissues.
