Abstract:The control of female mammalian reproduction is governed by the hypothalamo-pituitary-ovarian endocrine axis. Pulsatile pattern of gonadorophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secreted by hypothalamus, stimulates the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) from anterior pituitary gland.
