Abstract: Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS, Mirena) in the treatment of menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea and poor quality of life caused by adenomyosis in perimenopausal women.
