Clinical experience and acceptability of the etonogestrel subdermal contraceptive implant

Abstract: Etonogestrel subdermal contraceptive implants demonstrated high efficacy and an acceptable continuation rate. Counseling potential users explicitly about the side effects will optimize patient success with this long-acting contraceptive.
