Abstract:Background: Adenoid hypertrophy is a condition that affects the upper respiratoty tract and commonly occurs in children. Adenoid hypertrophy often occurs concurrently with tonsillar hypertrphy leading to the term adenotonsillar hypertrophy. The most common cause of this condition is allergies.
