Abstract:Background:Carotid body tumor (CBT) is a highly vascularized, slow-growing tumor of neurovascular origin with very low incidence. Our study aimed to document the characteristics of CBTs and examine the clinical outcomes of patients ’ post-surgical extirpation of CBT.
