Abstract: American tegumentary leishmaniasis (ATL) is a neglected tropical disease affecting the skin and mucosa. American tegumentary leishmaniasis due to Leishmania (Viannia) braziliensis is endemic in Argentina, where the Department of Oran is a hyperendemic focus.
