Abstract:This case-control study compared the clinical profile, parasite load, PCR positivity, and response to therapy in patients with recurrent CL (RCL) with primary CL. RCL patients had milder diseases with lower parasite loads, a lower number of lesions, and more self-healing diseases than primary CL patients.
