“…Occurrence of neuropathy was more common in female patients 80.95% as compared to male patients 19.05%. Similar results were also seen in studies conducted by other researchers (1,8,15) . Neuropathy was more common with duration of disease 1-5 years (47.62%) and obesity (52.38%) but these findings were not statistically significant (P = 0.60,0.45,0.61 and 0.29) respectively.…”
