Clinical Validation of the Nursing Diagnosis of Sexual Dysfunction in Pregnant Women

Abstract: OBJECTIVE Validate the sexual dysfunction nursing diagnosis in pregnant women. METHODS Cross‐sectional research using Richard Fehring's Clinical Diagnostic Validity Model. FINDINGS The prevalence of diagnosis was 48.7% in a sample of 306 pregnant women. A total of 14 defining characteristics were validated: seven major and seven minor.
