“…The other forms of skin cancer observed in this study include Kaposi sarcoma and other primary skin cancers such as sweat gland cancer, cutaneous lymphomas and liposarcoma. The low incidence of Kaposi sarcoma in this study compared with the finding in some regions in Africa may reflect the differences in the regional prevalence of HIV infection, which is a major risk factor for the disease (7,11,12,20). The anatomical distribution of the malignancies showed that the lower limb (foot, thigh, and leg) was the most affected site, followed by the head.…”
