Abstract: Background: Fracture diaphysis of a femur is one of the most common fractures that an orthopedic surgeon comes across. Since femur is one of the principal load bearing bones in the lower extremity, femur diaphyseal fractures resulting from high energy trauma, and are often associated with concomitant injury of internal organs.
