Embora o Tipo C (tipo plano), que apresenta acantose leve, alongamento variável das criptas epiteliais e uma fina camada de paraqueratose, seja apontado como o mais frequente, 2,12 o caso relatado foi identificado como Tipo A (tipo verrucoso), que apresenta hiperparaceratose, acantose e alongamento das criptas epiteliais, sendo evidenciado no exame histopatológico acantose e extensa hiperqueratinização do epitélio pavimentoso estratificado, com projeções alongadas em direção à lâmina própria.…”
