“…At each time point (first, second, and third quartiles of RFS), PB-CTCs showed excellent predictive value and the highest AUC for the third quartile of RFS compared to PV- and BM-CTCs. A meta-analysis showed that CTCs were significantly correlated with overall survival and progression-free survival in lung cancer patients [ 17 ].
