Liu et al 13 found, by reviewing the literature, that 6/39 (15.4%) patients with non-gestational choriocarcinoma were postmenopausal, whereas the peak incidence was in the lower age range of 12-25 years. Acute abdomen resulting from torsion, tumor rupture or hemoperitoneum, described in rare cases in the literature 22 , was not observed in our study.…”
