“…25,26 Several studies demonstrated that tumor size larger than 5 cm, incomplete tumor envelope, higher Ki-67 index, and aggressive behaviors are risk factors for recurrence. [27][28][29][30] Recently, a meta-analysis suggested that male sex, positive lymph nodes, R1 margins, and LVI, were associated with a significantly increased risk of recurrence in resected SPN. 31 Similar to previous studies, the recurrence rate was 1.8% and the overall 5-year survival rate was 97.7% in our study.…”

“…Fibroids are usually asymptomatic, but around one‐third of women with fibroids will present with symptoms severe enough to necessitate treatment 5 . Uterine fibroids can cause abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic compression symptoms, pain and other effects that can lead to impaired fertility 6 . In women with symptomatic fibroids and infertility, uterine‐preserving treatments can be administered 7 .…”

“…Hysteroscopy/hysterectomy with myomectomy, laparotomy/laparoscopy with myomectomy, uterine artery embolization, and magnetic resonance‐guided ultrasound surgery are among the treatment approaches 8 . Age, surgical technique, fibroid type, fibroid location, number of fibroids, pelvic adhesion severity, and treatment approach are associated with prognosis 3,6 …”
