Abstract:U rine retention is a serious condition that often occurs due to the presence of stones and sediments in the urinary tract (urolithiasis). It can lead to kidney dysfunction, disturbances in fluid and solute balance, and renal failure. It can also result in bladder rupture and the occurrence of azotemia.
