Clinicopathological Study of Ectopic Pregnancy

Abstract: Pregnancy is a God given boon to any woman but when it gets complicated by means of an ectopic it can be a bane to the conceiving mother with its varied complications to the mother as well as the developing fetus. Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a major cause of maternal mortality during the first trimester of pregnancy accounting for 10-15% of all maternal deaths globally [1] . Early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy reduces the risk of tubal rupture and allows for conservative medical management [2] .
