Abstract:Myeloproliferative neoplasms, including polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and myelofibrosis, are characterized by somatic gene mutations in bone marrow stem cells, which trigger an inflammatory response influencing the development of associated cardiovascular complications.
