“…The closed reduction does not involve invasive surgery, so it serves as a simple, efficient procedure that can be successful for less serious fractures. It involves injecting a needle into the hematoma, aspirating the blood, injecting a local anesthetic such as lidocaine into the hematoma, applying traction to loosen the muscles, and then manually pushing the distal radius back into alignment with the proximal radius segment [13]. This could be done with the assistance of a fluoroscope to periodically assess bone positioning.…”
