Clustering pattern and evolution characteristic of microRNAs in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon Idella)

Abstract: Background A considerable fraction of miRNAs are highly conserved, and certain miRNAs correspond to genomic clusters. The clustering of microRNAs can be advantageous, possibly by allowing coordinated expression.
