Co-channel CCK transmission overlapped with DME in aeronautical communication

Abstract: Traditional communication system in the L-band (960-1164 MHz) operates in the frequency gaps between the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) channels. However, this will lead to a waste of the frequency resources. In this paper, a spectrum spread communication system which is overlapped with the DME is considered.
