Abstract

Among all other industries, the petroleum industry plays a very important role to yield different type of products to fulfil the demand of overgrowing population in all over the world. The huge quantity of petroleum sludge (PS) is produced by various activities of petroleum industry including drilling activity, refinery, and production processing (Islam et al., 2015). The composition of PS is mostly contributed by varying quantity of waste oil, wastewater, chemicals, and mineral depending upon source generation.
