Abstract: Background: Little is known over the effect of co-existence of diabetes mellitus (DM) and pre-existing cardiovascular disease (CVD), DM, and pre-existing CVD on mortality among continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients.Methods: A retrospective study, with 2939 incident Chinese CAPD patients from five facilities between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2018, was conducted.
