Abstract:To facilitate resource utilization of waste tires (WT) and oily sludge (OS), waste tire-sludge adsorbent (WTSA) was developed using co-pyrolysis technology, and its effectiveness in adsorbing crude oil was investigated. The study revealed that the optimal preparation conditions for WTSA included a 1.5:1 mass ratio of WT to OS, a co-pyrolysis temperature of 600 ℃, a co-pyrolysis holding time of 2 hours, and a co-pyrolysis heating rate of 15 ℃/min.
