Co-simulation and hardware realization of PMSG–WECS based on current source inverter for grid synchronization

Abstract: Buck boost converter and current source inverter based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) for the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) is proposed in the system. The Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) theory controller with hysteresis band for the pulse generation is used as the control algorithm to synchronize with the grid.
