“…Received for publicatio n: April II , 1983 In our hospital the resection-anastomosis procedure and patch aort oplasty have been used as equal alternatives and practically with no preselection for CoA of adult patients since 1967 (23,24) . A long-term follow-up has revealed a significant number of late aneurysm formations at the CoA repair site after patch aorto plasty and good long-term results after resection -anastomosis (2) .
