Coastal Wave Extremes around the Pacific and Their Remote Seasonal Connection to Climate Modes

Abstract: At first order, wind-generated ocean surface waves represent the dominant forcing of open-coast morpho-dynamics and associated vulnerability over a wide range of time scales.
