Abstract:A simple, cost-effective and modular strategy has been developed to synthesize synthetically and pharmaceutically active enaminones via oxidative amination of aryl alkenes with amines and CHCl3 using tert-butylhydrogen peroxide (TBHP) as an oxidant.
