“…The highresolution XPS spectra recorded in the Co 2p region (Figure 6a,b) display a characteristic doublet of the Co 2p3/2 and Co 2p1/2 peaks, which is related to the spin-orbital splitting. The determined distance between the peaks in this doublet for all studied materials is Δ = 15.3-15.4 eV, which is the typical value reported for the Co3O4 phase in the literature [36,37]. The surface composition of the Co-loaded materials synthesized in the paths A and B was more precisely characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).…”

“…The reason is that most researchers have done their studies using one form of support rather than using different carriers for a desired reaction [8][9][10][11]. Perhaps, because the commercial catalyst (iridium on gamma-alumina) for hydrazine decomposition has a spherical form [12][13][14], less has been paid to various forms of catalyst support in the present papers, but in the species such as hydrogen peroxides, there are some reports about the influence of the shape of catalyst support on the decomposition rate [15][16][17].…”

“…This trend is also observed in the work by Stelmachowski et al 69 where precipitation, hydrothermal, and supercritical water syntheses were compared. Klegova et al 70 demonstrated that Co 3 O 4 and Co 4 MnAlO x supported on SiC open‐cell foams prepared by a suspension method are significantly more active than those prepared from solutions by the impregnation method. The use of freeze‐drying after impregnation during FeZSM‐5 catalyst synthesis, 71 allows one to obtain an enhanced metal‐support interaction and higher catalytic activity in comparison with a traditional drying method.…”
