Cocaine-Induced Ventilation/Perfusion Mismatch Mimicking Pulmonary Embolism

Abstract: Pulmonary complications from cocaine use can range from bronchospasm to vasospasm leading to pulmonary infarction. Profound vasospasm may also lead to perfusion defects presenting as pulmonary embolism on ventilation-perfusion scan.
