Coccoid Helicobacter pylori: An uncommon form of a common pathogen

Abstract: IntroduCtIonHelicobacter pylori is currently accepted as a major cause of gastritis and is implicated in the development of peptic ulcer disease, mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma, and other cancers.
